 When the bell of Snake rang, the CCTV Spring Festival Gala greatly welcomed by much Chinese and even global ethnic Chinese successfully concluded.

On February 1, the SARFT issued the "Notice on Economical and Safe Program", which requires the holiday broadcasting and television programs not to compete with one another for lavishness, luxuriousness and celebrities, including the Spring Festival Gala. Previously, a reporter reported that the Spring Festival Gala team expressed that they had been adhering to the principle of the economical CCTV Spring Festival Gala for many years, since 1998, CCTV Spring Festival Gala has been using the old station site CCTV No. 1 performance hall for 15 years to host the show, which greatly saved space costs.
